Scar Revision & Corrections
In the past 25 years, I am continually petitioned to perform scar revision or scar minimization or scar reconstruction in almost every part of the human body, whether it be traumatic scars or unsatisfactory scars resultant from surgery or from misplaced scars or incisions that have widened. This is a very active part of my practice.

Our techniques are predicated on the conservative approach in that we minimize the amount of surgery we have to perform to obtain the best results. We usually enhance our scar revisions with a little dermabrasion (sanding) of the tissues afterwards to produce the overall best cosmetic result.

Universally…our scar revisions can be performed in an in-office setting and without anesthesia with the exception of the local administration of novocaine. .
