Fat Extraction and Transfer
This is probably one of the most exciting modalities we have developed in cosmetic surgery is the ability to extract fat cells from one part of the body and transfer to other parts where we could improve upon cavities, depressions and in general build up or augment certain areas.

With each passing year, our patient population is higher and higher for this procedure and that is the true test of the ethnicity of any treatment we impose. If more and more patients are satisfied, then more and more will enter the office.

This is an office-based procedure with virtually no recovery time, where we will extract some fat from the abdomen or buttocks . . . centrifuge it . . . and then instill it in those lines around the lips, the lines around the nose and mouth, the cheek bones and also the lower chin.

This has been extraordinarily successful in our practice . . . as measured by the satisfaction of our patients, which is really the only true measure of the affectivity. You will note that it is very cost effective . . . especially measured against other soft tissue fillers such as Collagen and Restylane, etc., etc. Yet, there is no pre-testing, there is no remune response as it is your own tissue, the procedure can be repeated and it is very, very long lasting.
